Pongal, a popular harvest festival in South India, was celebrated in Great Innovus with great enthusiasm.
The Pongal celebration at our office was a vibrant and colorful affair. Employees came dressed in traditional South Indian attire, adding to the festive atmosphere. The day began with the drawing of beautiful kolam (rangoli) designs by teams of employees, which added a touch of tradition and culture to the office environment.
The celebration continued with a variety of fun games and activities, such as sugarcane breaking without tools, Uri Adithal (where a person is blindfolded and smash the pot held high). Employees participated in the games with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The games were enjoyed by employees from all, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.
The highlight of the celebration was a traditional Pongal feast, which was enjoyed by everyone.The day ended with a vote of thanks and a promise to make the celebration even bigger and better next year. Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with fun, food, and festivity, and everyone left the office with memories that will last a lifetime.
