Notably, Madurai has emerged as the prime IT hub of South Tamil Nadu, housing an estimated 17,500 workers from several companies. The Hon’ble Chief Minister has recently announced the 3rd Tidel Park in Madurai, which will create an additional 10,000 job opportunities.
In light of this, CII Madurai Zone has organized Connect 2022, a flagship ICT event on the theme “IT from Madurai to the World." This conference, as in the past, provided an ideal platform for understanding Madurai's dynamics in the tech sector and the critical role of ICT business success in the digital age.
Furthermore, many technology experts, industry captains, researchers, infrastructure providers, policymakers, and start-ups joined in on the event.
In keeping with the conference concept, an expo organized as a component of the conference featured only IT products and services made in Madurai.
